BABY ALIVE LEARNS TO POTTY INTERACTIVE DOLL 2007 HASBRO Picture(s) and Description:
BABY ALIVE LEARNS TO POTTY CAUCASIAN INTERACTIVE BABY DOLL...2007 HASBRO. Mfg. recommended age range: 36 months - 5 years. 4 AA batteries required..currently in place and working..will leave but cannot be responsible for their life. THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE DOLL ONLY. I do not have accessories, other than the outfit she has on. Playing “mommy” is even more realistic with this sweet baby doll Press the doll’s bracelet to “wake” her up. It’s time to eat! Mix her special food and feed her, using her bowl and spoon. And since she’s “potty training”, she’ll also let you know when she needs to go. Better hurry, though! Put her on the potty and she’ll “pee” and “poop”. The realistic baby doll encourages valuable, imaginative role-play for future “mommies”-in-training, while also helping to teach a sense of responsibility and good, old-fashioned tender, loving care! The Baby Alive Learns to Potty doll from Hasbro really eats, drinks, and uses the potty. With its blinking eyes, talking mouth, and ability to "eat" and "digest" its food, this doll provides interactive and imaginative fun for children ages 3 and up. Little ones who love playing "mommy" will find a captivating playmate in Baby Alive. With large blue eyes and expressive, animatronic features, Baby Alive introduces the responsibilities of parenting with lifelike functionality. Mealtime can be messy, so some attention will need to be paid (usually by a grownup) to make sure Baby is clean, inside and out. Measuring 16 inches from the curls on her head to the tip of her tiny, individually molded toes, Baby Alive laughs, burps, hiccups, and interacts with phrases and songs. While her oversized features might unsettle grownups, Baby Alive captures the imagination of preschoolers from the moment she wrinkles her pretty, pert nose. This version of Baby Alive is a toddler, just the right age for potty training. She has cartoonish, oversized eyes and a head of curly hair, and comes dressed in a bib and a removable dress. Press the button on her bracelet to turn her on; she'll "wake up" and say "I Love You Mommy." When she talks, her eyes blink and her mouth moves in sync with her words. When she says "I'm hungry," that's the cue to feed her. While some talking toys simply recite phrases at children, Baby Alive takes it a step further by offering the opportunity for interaction. As well as asking for food and using the potty, she also will ask your child to sing songs, play, or give her a hug -- each of which invites a response. Her interactive features allow for role-playing fun, which is a vital part of a young child's development. I do not have any of the accessories, including the food & drink required to make her "work". I do not know if that part of her works...she is suppose to eat, drink, wet, poop, etc...I see no signs of her having any food in her, although there are ways to clean it out..and if she had any, it was cleaned. However, I have tested her ability to talk and she does that very well...saying lots of cute phrases and moving her moth & blinking her eyes as she talks. Instructions for the doll can be downloaded from the internet. I do not have them. Approx. 16 in. tall. Clean. I have wiped this doll down. Would suggest a good thorough cleaning before giving to a child to play with, only for your own peace of mind. Dress/top she is wearing is clean. Doll is wearing her original outfit...headband it attached to head with pink bow on right side...The top she has on matches headbank...pink across top with short sleeves that have ruffles on each shoulder...bottom is pink with flower print (like headband)...velcro closure in back. I added a disposable diaper and a pair of white socks. Her hair is blond and wispy, just like most toddlers. Looks like it may be a wig, as opposed to rooted hair, but I am not sure about that. I don't see any missing plugs, but I am no expert in that field. It is a nice, pre-loved baby doll...cute as she can be and will easily become a favorite of any small child. Accessory packs for this doll can probably be purchased elsewhere on Ebay or on other online sights, as well as at toy stores that carry this doll. Smoke free home. Thanks for looking.
